Burns Park Halloween Parade

The Burns Park Elementary Halloween tradition was preserved this year despite inclement weather. Students and teachers put on a great parade. Thank you to each and every family volunteer for making this a fun and memorable time for students and thanks to Ms. Crankshaw’s class for leading our parade. Burns Park Press

The Burns Park Press is the monthly newsletter of the PTO, distributed to all families, faculty, and staff in electronic and paper format. The BP Press is our regular way of communicating as a community, and carries news, an events calendar, and regular contributions from PTO officers and our principal. All families receive the electronic version of the BP Press, and can get a paper copy sent home upon request. Please select from our available issues below:

Golden Apple Applications

Golden Apple Grants are awarded by the PTO to teachers, staff and parents who seek funding for enrichment activities for Burns Park students. These grants are used to enhance or complement existing curriculum or introduce new or unique educational experiences. Completed forms (pdf below) should be placed in the PTO box in the school office or emailed to current PTO Presidents Lauren Kinsherf at laurenkinsherf@yahoo.com, or Sylvia Marino at smar@umich.edu. Questions about the application process should also be directed to the same e-mails.
